Ray Bradbury and Tim Hamilton, Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451: The Authorized Adaptation, 2009.
It’s Farenheit 451. You know the story. But Tim Hamilton’s adaptation is both faithful and evocative, distinguished especially by its subtle use of color as a storytelling tool. In the sample below, note how hot and cool colors relate to story content.
Age: grades 6-8: try reading this alongside the original.

It’s a great book! A lot of comics adaptations of novels are very text heavy, but Tom manages, a lot of times, to let the pictures tell the story. It’s good comics!
