I was just working on an illustration for the upcoming Drawing Words & Writing Pictures volume 2 (new, exciting title to be announced when we think of one), for a chapter on alternative approaches to inking. I confused myself by masking a drawing of a masked drawing of someone inking using a toothbrush, and then inking it with a toothbrush…
And I still got spatter all over.
